Measuring for New Driveshaft

Recommended Posts

Okay I know what and where to measure but I have a slight problem.

The car is to low to get under and I don't have access to a drive on lift so can I just jack the rear of the car up and support it under the rear end with Jack stands to keep suspension loaded while leaving the front on the ground, or do I need to also jack up the front?

I need to lift my car about 1' to work on it comfortably LOL...

Gonna see how the car sits on level ground then drive it up on some metal ramps in the front, then jack the rear end up to match what it was on the ground and that should put me at ride height and measurements should be easy enough :)
