MikeStang 247 Report post Posted July 6, 2015 I want something up High Raven. Something that is at close to driver eye level since my car is lowered a good bit the lights are way down there LOL
69RavenConv 286 Report post Posted July 6, 2015 How about this? It's up high and vintage Ford to boot. (Sorry, it's the first thing that came to mind when I read "up high")
mustangstofear 608 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 On our 67-68 fastback headliner I thought about incorprating a third brake light in the rear header panel.
MikeStang 247 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 That would be a good addition in the headliner.
rodbrady 18 Report post Posted December 30, 2015 Thinking about adding a 3rd brake myself, but not sure about the wiring. Someone mentioned an "AND-ing" circuit?
69RavenConv 286 Report post Posted December 30, 2015 Thinking about adding a 3rd brake myself, but not sure about the wiring. Someone mentioned an "AND-ing" circuit? A lot of folks tap into one or both brake lights to wire up the 3rd light. This works, to a degree, except that on cars like ours the brake light is also the turn signal. So your 3rd brake light blinks along with your turn signal (we've all seen cars doing this). The trick is to 'AND' both brake lights together so the 3rd only lights when both lights are on (there are electrical ways to do this). Another good suggestion is to utilize the brake light switch on the brake pedal.
