wheels and tires

Recommended Posts

Hey, new to this forum, I have a 69 fastback V8 302...just trying to figure out what size wheels would go on them. trying to figure out my options.

I have after market disc brakes up front and drums in the rear

I want to get the magnum 500's ... will 16x7's or 8's fit ?

any info will be helpful

Probably should fit fine within a certain backspace range. I don't know what that is off the top of my head. Do a search on the forums, there are many wheel fitment/wheel size threads on here and a lot of feedback on what works.

Where did you buy these wheels from? I've been wanting a set lately just to give its classy look. :) lol

Newer mach1 rims have the mag 500 look and should give you a little better performance.

You can get 8", 9" or deep dish 10.5" with 315's on them.

I went with the latter.

Depends on the size if the rotor and caliper. I have 2007 mustang gt brakes on mine. Factory 17's will fit but some aftermarkets won't. I went with 18x10 rear and 18x8 front aftermarket bullitts.
