69volunteer 84 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) I installed tonight my front coil spring with my new opentracker roller spring perches. Lining up the top of the spring to the notch in the shock tower rotates the bottom end of the spring very far forward. Does this look ok? LoneWolf2U 136 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 No, look at the bottom pic. The end of the coil should be touching the spring perch stop. You only have half the lower coil on the perch.

69volunteer 84 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 If I rotate it towards the tab on the spring perch, then the top of the coil spring/insulator will not fit in that tab. Is there another one that I cannot see towards the engine bay? Which is more important? Touching the tab on the spring perch or having the insulator tab in the notch at the top? LoneWolf2U 136 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 Touching the tab on the spring perch. The top of the spring is held centered in position by the lip of the shocktower.
