Dil2007 10 Report post Posted June 18, 2012 So, my 13 yr old son decided he wanted a mustang. A 60's to be specific. After a few days of scouring pics of various 60's models. He came back with the 67 and 69 as his favorites. After looking for cars for a reasonable price, I came across a 69 for $500. Rolling chasis with all body panels in good shape. Need engine, trans, driveshaft. Lots of work, but have a couple of years before he can drive anyway. I am really looking forward to this project. I haven't worked on a car in at least 10 years, it just got more convenient to take them to the auto shop. I really liked the info found on this site and i am sure i will be back with questions. Will have project start pics soon.
