Spark plug wires

Hey all,im pretty sure my wires are toast and so im looking new ones but soooo many choices.I just want something that will take the heat,works well and is easy to use(45 degree boots are nice) .Car is a 69 coupe,302,with some performance enhancements,electronic ignition with MSD blaster and MSD coil.Any suggestions on wires and boots,i dont mind shelling out 100$ for a set of eight.thx

I've always liked the old yellow Accel Super Stock wires myself. You can order them with different angle boots. They clean up easy with some hand cleaner also.

well you could get the MSD wires or Taylors, they both come in red and match the MSD parts and are great quality; I have used both for many years.

I looked up wire reviews and Granatelli wires seem to be very low in ohms,anyone have any experience with em?Taylors are what i have now and they did the job decently until they got fried but ide like a real good set.One thing ive noticed is that a lot of the companies dont produce kits for 69 302's,only 1980's and up v8 5L's,could i buy a set that works for a v8 5L?

I had Accels but after 1 yr when you opened the hood at night - it looked like a lightning storm...

 

Went to MSD's and no problems...............

Probably not. Most the newer kits are for distributor caps that have male terminals, older cars have female terminals.

these are Taylor Spriro Pro cut to length. They have a 135 degree boot option like you're interested in (see pic).

 

the stripper/crimper tool makes it very easy to do. if you screw up, they sell the bits and pieces.

Thx everyone,i wound up getting MSD's ,but now i cant get wire looms for the 8.5mm wires.think ill get 8mm's and drill them out.

I have the same loom brackets as buckeye on my fox body but in red to match the Taylor 9mm wires (looks great Buckeye btw). Check Summit Racing they have page after page of them online... try Taylor and Spectre brand.
