CG in TX 16 Report post Posted May 21, 2011 I have a Holley carb that is pooring fuel into the primaries as soon as the electric fuel pump starts causing an extreme flooded condition. I replaced the power valve and checked the float to verify it stops the fuel supply at the top limit. Fuel pressure is about 7. I first noticed this problem about a week ago when it seemed the engine was loading up at initial start but got better when it warmed up. Now it won't even start. Any ideas? LoneWolf2U 136 Report post Posted May 21, 2011 You need a regulator set at 5.5 lbs. Holleys do not like more than 6 lbs fuel pressure or you will overide the floats. Pull the plugs and dry them after you install the reg.

CG in TX 16 Report post Posted May 23, 2011 I think I found the problem. I removed the brass float and it has gas in it. The float must not have been floating. I will try a new float.
