Grabber70Mach 107 Report post Posted October 17, 2008 I'm looking at purchasing a set of rear leaf springs but would like to make sure what I am getting will lower the car some. Could some one with a set of newer 4 leaf springs (stock height) measure from the centerline of the axle to the lip of the rear fender opening? Also if some one has mid or reverse eye 5 leafs your measurement would be helpful too. A 69 or 70 mustang should do the trick. Thanks.

Grabber70Mach 107 Report post Posted October 17, 2008 (edited) Thanks that does help me out. I'm thinking that I should lower the rear about 1 inch. I was looking at some 5 leaf mid-eye springs. Edited October 18, 2008 by Grabber70Mach To add pics
rjardy 10 Report post Posted October 18, 2008 5 leaf is going to be a pretty rough ride. Im done to three out of a stock height 4 spring pack. Rides pretty well and not harsh at all. Even with 4 it was pretty harsh. The back of our cars dont really weigh that much.
