Vic's Grabber Orange 70 mach 1

I have been working on this car for about a year now, 4v clevo is rebuilt, roller cam, 780 street avenger carb, original intake & exhaust manifolds, (slightly modified) Rebuilt original FMX, added 2800 stally.The motor & tranny are back in the car. Body is nearly ready for paint.:001_smile:.

After a bit of discussion & debate the paintshop decided that my car needed a second trip to the booth. All the panels have been rubbed down & recoloured with the correct colour paint. I am happy again.

Yeah,

The painter left the black out of the mix making it a really bright orange.All fixed now though. The body is being reassembled @ the moment. I'll post some more pics when she's home. Then the fun starts for me putting her back together.

My car came home from the body shop the day before I had to return to work for 3 weeks.

I have rebuilt the steering & front suspension, fitting all the pieces of the jigsaw back together.

looking good!!!! i've always liked the grabber orange on the 70 mach, something about the color with the rocker panel moldings and the hood stripe, etc. one of my favorite combo's to look at on the 70.
