Yesterday I started installing the new fuel lines.

For anyone that is interested there is a large all Ford/Mustang show in Greensboro, N.C. in The Home Depot parking lot on Saturday June 15th. It is at 4425 W. Wendover Ave, Greensboro. My wife & I went to the show in 2022 & it was a great show. We will be there again this year.

Looking good Vic. Before you know it you will be out driving it.

This past week I finished up bending the last of the fuel lines & making the bubble flares on the ends of the lines. Now I lust have to install them.

Thanks ben. If you need any help with the spam posts, I would be happy to help.

Welcome to the forum. I cannot help you with any pics since my 69 Coupe is still apart. IIRC the rail that retains the weatherstripping that runs from the "A" pillar to the sail panel holds the weatherstripping for the door & the quarter windows. The weatherstripping fits into it.

Nothing. Just looked at it as I walked past it in the garage/shop. My hips are acting up & it is very difficult to get down on the ground, lay on the ground, & get back up. Planning on purchasing a 4-post lift sometime during the summer or after the summer to make finishing the Mustang much easier. I would like to drive it soon after all this work on it. Never thought it would take this long to complete. Getting old sucks.

I have the book with the red cover & I think it is just a rehash of the Osborn manuals.

It is looking very good Vic. Why is the front bumper black & the rear bumper body color, wouldn't it look better with the front bumper body color? Looks like you 70 has 69 Quarter panels. I thought the70 quarter panels were smooth without the horizontal ridge. I had (many years ago) a 70 Coupe & the panels were smooth, & I am on my 2nd 69 Coupe & they both have the horizontal ridge like yours.

14 hours ago, RogerC said:I'll just say I had the hood fly up on my 68 once upon a time. It was not a fun time. I will be using Ford torsion clip pins on my 69. I bought them several years ago for just under $50. Pretty sure they're up around $80 now though. The Ford ones have a reinforcing plate for the bottom side. As far as air cleaners go, I can't comment other than I used a velocity stack previously with the short boss cobrajet scoop, all with a cleveland engine.
Those are the same ones I have to install on my 69 Coupe.

Randy if you would like I could go out to the shop & measure my 69 Coupe if you would like.

When I acquired my 69 Coupe many years ago it was missing most of the f/e sheet metal. Over the years I have bought all the stuff including the stainless trim used original Ford stuff so it should fit.

It is 8:10am here in southwestern Va & it is good to see the site back up again. I missed it last month when it was down for most of the month.

Looks awesome Vic, nice work.

Are you using the spoiler brackets that mount under the trunk lid?

Looks good Vic, did you get the dash pad from NPD? I will need one soon for my Coupe.

I had a 1970 Coupe as my first car & first Mustang & IIRC I think they were a charcoal gray color almost like the color of the dash.

I have a chance to purchase a pair of sport mirrors for my 69 Coupe, but the driver's side mirror is missing the spring-loaded adjuster where the cables go into that the adjuster handle attaches to that comes through the door panel. Does anyone know if the spring-loaded adjuster is the same on the sport mirrors as on other Ford products? This is the part I am referring to.

WOW!! Nice work Vic.

Mach 1 Driver I am in the same spot as Vic & will be installing mine soon also. Can you buy the insulator, or do I have to make one?

Yesterday I started installing the new fuel lines & found I have the wrong size fittings at the fuel filter. Ordered new fittings from Summit Racing.
