  1. find somebody selling one on a local mustang website if you have one. alot of people on a local site are trustworthy because so many people know them. also, 94-95 mustangs had t-5 transmissiosn as well not just 87-93. if i were you, I would look for a t-56 6 speed. you'll need a bell housing and probably a different drive shaft but if your car has any power it would be worht it, they are stronger than a t-5 and alot more fun. if you have gears, its nice to have that 6th gear for cruising.
  2. mk well the new circuit board the snaps for the cvr are just a little to wide and one had come unsnapped so thats the oil pressure problem... but all th lights never worked, only the right 3/4 of them. now the only light that works is the oil pressure gauge. turn signals light up and brake system lights up.... if one bulb is out does that make the rest not work like it won't let it complete the circuit? well i checked and every bulb completes the circuit!...
  3. fuses are good! what could have happened? the gauge was tight...
  4. ok well I get the whole interior put back together and tis not working :censored: pulled it out and messedwith it again and did the same thing, even put electrical tape down so it couldnt ground out and its not working!! have not checked fuses yet though... I need ot finish, going to put exhaust on it tomorrow.
  5. well theres alot more done but i dont have any pics of everything done and complete. I guess I don' have any with the spoiler on the decklid. I'll just go out there and take some.
  6. picked this car up summer of 06 and basically have spent every day after school since then working on it. 2v 302... have plans of a 347 stroker motor but we need to finish this up and drive it for awhile how it is. c4 trans, original ac car, does not have it now. painted like a mach i guess i just spraye dthe hood flat black and taped off where i wanted red.. I'm trying to be a painter.. but now that I'm about to go into college I would rather do it as more of a side job than a main thing. I hate prep work but I love the finished product. original car color was champagne gold but was a crappy red when we got it. original interior was nugget gold but was nice black when we got it.ssbc front disc brake conversion... hooker 3 inch headers to 2 1/2 inch flow master o/r h pipe to flow master super 44's with chrome 3 inch tips.
  7. looks like a great project car but honestly I hate the way the fender lip is rolled out. even if it allows for more rubber...

YOU FIXED IT THANKS BUD. temp/fuel gauge were grounding out. ahhh i started it and just watched that oil pressure climb up... ohh yeah.... anyway still have front turn signal problem. im so relieved though... hopefully i can put it all back together.. get my exhaust welded up... and drive my baby.
  11. lol.. i just taped mine out with 3m tape. it doesnt work so great to curve i would much rather work with masking tape but its not supposed to leave an edge. i used a hot rod black to do it. its a real nice flat black. painted the hood black then taped off what i wanted black then painted teh rest red

I put new gauge glass in? could this be a problem? hm.... that wouldb e a nice fix. well i pulled the harness out and somebody has done some tampering but nothing that i can find taht would cause this. everying related completes a circuit.. engine ground strap is connected. fuel gauge does NOT work. the ground tha goes to the dash.. there is a bolt like it should have a ground going to it but he closest groudn wire is grounded to the bottom of the dash. in the harness i found a small black cut wire but it is no where close to where i thought i was missing a ground. are the front turn signal/fog light deals supposed to be on when the headlights are on? I think they used to be and after re-installing harness, they only work when the switch is pulled to the first position.. thanks for all the help guys, I appreciate it.
  14. also put in new constant voltage reg on back of cluster and no change.
  15. been working on it for weeks, oil pressure gauge and water temp do not work sending units are new and wiring to under dash feed is new. i am thinking we are missing a ground somewhere or something but can not find anything... we have guage lights... um.. lets see... new circuit board.. thought that was it.. one of the wires taht is loose is only hot when the door is open like there was a door light on the drivers side as well. wire to lights is only hot when lights are on and both ends of fuse are dead until lights are on. ??? oh btw its 69 mustang fastback 302 2v c4 auto. original ac car, has cig lighter.. idk if anything else needs to be known i HATE when someone messes up wiring. we are to the point of new harness but for the life of me i can not find one for 69?? there are some universal on ebay..... and painless wiring has one i believe. jeez... this is all that is holding us up... i want to build cobra motor!! any help is greatly appreciated, thanks -Matt older pic...
  16. the vacuum canister should be there anyway and it should just be or anything that pulls a vacuum such as opening ac vents and stuff but actually im not sure if thats how they open on a 69..its how it works on my 95 cobra
  17. i think there are some cobra r clones...what year are you looking at? i have 2000 cobra r wheels on my cobra and IIRC they are 17x8... you need to do some shopping around i would think... are you sure on your backspacing?
  18. sorry dont know of any place where you can get just the mirror but i think you can get the whole thing pretty cheap with glue from NPD
  19. When i bought mine, the paint was like that underneath the gas cap... i didnt think it was a problem...but im about to paint so i guess i'll find out..
  20. the trim circled in green...how do i remove/install it?? i know there are two bolts where the red dots are... after taht im lost on tring to get it off without ruining it.
