  1. Cheapest route if you have any fabrication skills is to copy one. Several place sell the parts you need: The Chassis Shop, QA1, Mark Williams, Speedway Motors, Pete and Jakes, The Duece Factory.
  2. Speedway motors has rear disc kits starting at $300. I'd recommend the MustangSteve route on the fronts. Put a 13 Cobra disc next to the oem Mustang or any other. That should make up your mind.

  4. No, I doubt it will blow up. However most folks use headers for better breathing/performance. How the restricted tube translates into power, who knows w/o a dyno and 2 sets of headers. My brother found out upon rebuild that his 289 Mustang had 3 different weight and compression ratio pistons. Still ran like a bat outta hell. If me, I'd cut out the area of tube with interference and weld in a piece which fits your application. Bob.

  10. Sorry if I got your hopes up Runragged, mine is not cut. Sheesh, I gotta get my build going again, I even forgot how many pieces make up the fold down seat.

  16. Forgive me for asking, but what is a trap door? If it's part of the fold down rear seat, I have a black one which has been cut for 6x9's I believe.

  18. Does your wife have a twin sister?
  19. Car parts on a kitchen table. Gotta love it. Some things are just bred into gear heads.
  20. I've never seen a printed measurement for this. I'd use the doors as a reference. Maybe a better way is to have it put on a frame machine and measure it. That will let you know if the front or rear is high or low in relation to the center.
  21. Been off line for a few days. Thanks Stephen.
  22. Just curios if anyone has received a response from the seller.
  23. Steve69 hit the nail on the head. It's by the design and number of moving parts which causes the problems. I've had a Flaming River box in mine for many years w/o any problems. But when I finally install the engine and make it a driver I'm sure i'll want r&p. :tongue_smilie:
  24. "I ended up with a 69 Mach" Ended up? You, my friend, are a lucky man!
