  1. Got mine on Friday. It fits very well. Here are some photos of it installed but they really don't do it justice.
  2. I am looking for a 69 deluxe clock bezel and clock. I do not need this to be a perfect piece by any means. I already have a very nice wood grain piece for it so I don't really need that. It can even have a broken tab. Clock just needs to be presentable and does not need to work. I am building a complete 69 dash to hang on my garage wall. I am putting a nice radio in it and it will provide tunes for the garage.
  3. I am trying to make everything look stock and don't know how it was hooked up originally. I have two female ends and there has to be some sort of adapter since it obviously won't work the way it is. Every choke tube set that I see has the female connector on the end and so does every 4300 choke housing that accepts the choke tube that I see on the web.
  4. it is for a 69. I emailed you this evening. Thanks!
  5. I ordered one from Missouri Mustang and it should arrive this week. They sell it for $95. I will update the post on how well it fits.
  6. I am putting my car together and it is a 351W. It was an "H" code car but I am putting the 4bbl 4300 on it. I am trying to hook up the choke tube to the choke housing on the carb. The ends are both female. I am attaching a picture of an adapter that I saw on a website. Does anyone know if this is correct? If so does anyone have one that they want to let go of? The photos are not of my car or carb but used for reference.
  7. I am looking to buy a trunk carpet kit for my car. I don't see one for a 69 convertible but they have them for fastback and coupe. I would assume that I could make the coupe kit work for my convertible. Has anyone tried the coupe kit in a convertible? I bought the kit for my 67 GTA and love the look of it.
  8. Need the door panel bracket for deluxe interior that attaches to the interior door panel cup.
  9. Want to buy: Correct coil bracket for 351W 4bbl. Also need drivers side A-pillar trim for 69 convertible in black. Mine has a broken tab. Thank you.
  10. Anyone need a 70-73 quarter window vertical weather strip (left hand side)? Part number D1ZZ-6330147-0. It is a reproduction part made from original tooling. I have no use for it. My idea was to buy a car to put it on but my wife thought it would be better to list the part here.
  11. Does anyone have good photos of the carb linkage setup for a "M"code car? Mine seems a little off and I want something to compare it with.
  12. I had the 40's on my 67 and they were way too loud. They sounded great going down the road but the interior noise was horrible. You could not even talk to someone in the car. I could have put some sound material in the car but it was a 63,000 original car and I did not want to tear the interior apart.
  13. I was looking for a heat shield that runs from the exhaust manifold to the air cleaner. They are on eBay and used part dealers have them for anywhere from $300 to $400+. I refused to pay that much money since I figured a reproduction one was just around the corner. That has not happened yet but I did find a nice used one for $68 from a person parting out Cougars.
  14. Hopefully my A/C issue is solved. Looks like I was missing the quick release fittings that should bridge the gap between the dryer and the sight hose.
  15. I actually did not rebuild the original one because someone stripped most of the under hood stuff before I got the car and it was missing. I got one from Rock Auto that was identical to the original one but already rebuilt. I think it was like $170 bucks.
  16. My sight glass hose ends right after the square sight glass and it is threaded. It looks like from your photo that the sight glass hose extends a little further past that point before connecting to the solid dryer line. Does the hose after the sight glass and the brass fitting remain flexible until the solid dryer line? I will post photos of mine to show the issue.
  17. The hose I have must have been mislabeled. It has the right part number sticker on it but it stops 4 to 5 inches shy of the radiator support. My dryer has the metal extension that goes through the opening of the radiator support and sticks about an inch into the engine bay.
  18. I am from Avon Indiana which is 8 miles west of Indianapolis. Anyone from the Indy area?
  19. That should work. I don't see where the 302 A/C is any different than the 351W A/C system. Thank you!
  20. My car is a 351W car with factory air. I am trying to finish up the under hood stuff and I am down to the very end of the A/C system. Everything is in place but I have a problem. The sight hose appears to be short and won't connect with the dryer. Is there an additional short hose that goes in between the two? I checked the part numbers on both parts that I have and according to everything I have found they are the correct ones. Also does anyone have a picture of the correct A/C clutch. I have several styles here from past cars and not sure which one is for the 69. Thank you Ryan
  21. I need to find the metal wire cover for the steering column (Not tilt). Mine has a broken clip.
  22. Thanks Midlife. I sent him an email. Indianfiremach by the time I looked at your auction it had sold. Thanks for the replies. This site and the members continue to be an asset to my 69 restoration.
  23. I have my car running and have an aftermarket Holley on the car but I want to with the Autolite 4300. Where is the best place to get a restored one? I used to use Pony Carbs but I think they are gone.
