3Katz got a reaction from fvike in What is the proper stance?
I don't have much to contribute aside from this pic which is my screensaver. Although not the proper stance as in stock it's definately cool and what I'll be aiming for once I get my wheels and tyres sorted. I'm commenting because I have a question - Prayers I think your 295/50/15 shot looks great, what is the width of your rear rims?

3Katz got a reaction from stacierb1 in Opinions on this toploader kit?
I've been researching and pricing parts to suit my toploader. My tag number is RUG E2 which I believe is a '68 28 spline wide ratio box. First synchro is gone, apart from that there aren't any issues with the box besides the leaks.

    I have tried they following:

Dan Williams - no email contact on his website
David Key - email sent no reply
Toploader Heaven - website down, plenty of google activity with people having a hard time contacting him.
    Austtrans.com (Australia) - about $480 with synchros
Sydney Mustang Parts - $256 with synchros
Ford Muscle Parts - $350 with synchros and shaft

And then there's good old Ebay with this kit (pic of kit to save opening link)

Transmission Rebuild Kit Ford Toploader 4 Speed RWD Heavy Duty BK135HDWS-DELUXE

for about $210 delivered from the States. Both this kit and the Ford Muscle Parts kit have the synchros and the shaft included whereas the others do not.

So my question to you guys would be does anyone have any experience with a usa.industries product off Ebay? Do you see any potential issues with this kit? Price wise it's way in front, just hoping to pick up any info or opinions - positive or negative, thanks!

3Katz reacted to indianfiremach in 1969 with factory air, Fix it or go with aftermarket kit???
I rebuilt my original AC box in my '69 Mustang Mach 1 a few years ago, it worked ok with the sanden conversion. I have a '70 Corvette now that I put the vintage air gen iv kit in. It works amazing and I had it installed in just a few hours with almost no modifications to the car. When I pulled the AC box from my '70 Mach 1, I sold it on the forums here because I plan to put vintage air in my '70. The car is not "strictly hot rod" and looks mostly stock. Unless you really know what you're looking at, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It uses the stock controls / vents. And on a hot/cold day, you'll be glad you have it. Just wanted to give a different opinion. I also know a dealer that sells it for a pretty fair price (less than you can get it for on eBay), pm me if you want his contact info.
