  1. I have to agree with the previous poster, sometimes I ask my self, what the hell am I trying to accomplish, it is much easier to buy a complete car and work extra Overtime to pay for it. But then there is that part of me that is longing for the satisfaction of rebuilding a classic. Your car looks great, and thanks for the photos....maybe its just the long Winter's in Canada..... Bill from Ottawa

  10. That makes sense. When I got my car from Calgary, it was in the midst of a restroation, and only one side of the floor is out and the other is still solid. I was wondering how to tackle this part, but that makes it sound easier. I was under the impression that I should get my doors done next, either reskinned or replaced, so that I can aligne them properly to ensure that all the spaces are good before tackling the floors. What did you do with your doors? Bill

  12. Question for ya..When you were welding your floors, what did you do to maintain the openings for the doors. Did yo keep the doors in place, or did you weld bars in the door openeings to stablize the car while the new floors were going in. Do you have any pics.. Bill from Ottawa

  23. I was fortunate enough to find a guy who had a mobile commercial sand blasting truck, and for $400 and 4 hours later, she silica blasted the whole car. It turned out great, and I ahve since apoxy rimed the whole car. It will have to be blasted again when the day comes to start working on it, but it is preserved for a long time now. Bill
