  1. Did you support the cooler on both sides I can only see one bracket in the picture. Which cooler model did you use?
  2. Nice thanks. Do you use the radiator cooler as well?
  3. This would be between the radiator support and the grill to the left?
  4. I need to install a transmission cooler in my 69 mustang. The car has AC so I believe that in front of the radiator is out of the question . Looking for mounting locations.
  5. Here’s a thought, I had the same issue and completely disassembled the steering column and began to trace wires. After a few hours of standing on my head under the dash, which is a feat in itself for a man of my age, I decided to check to see if there was power at the socket. Guess what, there was and the bulb was good. Upon further inspection I discovered the the socket contacts were not oriented correctly and did not make contact with the bulb. I ordered a new socket form Midlife spliced it in and problem solved. Just a thought
  6. can’t add that much caster the wheels rub the forward wheel well
  7. Anyone else having an issue with the power steering ram bracket loosening up on the frame if so what was your fix I’m considering welding mine
  8. Thanks I found the mark. You fellas have a Happy Thanksgiving!
  9. Is anyone aware of an alignment mark on the steering wheel and steering shaft that should be matched to properly align the steering wheel spoke down. So as an example if I have 4 turns full left to full right, two tuns should should center the the front wheels. If they are not is a tie rod adjustment. Is there a mark on the shaft that should match the steering wheel in that position. I cant find one on the steering wheel.
  10. I’m my never ending quest to get my 69 mustang to drive without wandering or following the crown in the road. I have a question. Has anyone ever used a valve in the power steering line tho limit flow there by reducing sensitivity?
  11. So that’s what happened to that harness. Thanks and Midlife as a native Floridian I have been through my share of hurricanes. If this is your first it will get better. Just hang in there I am glad you and your family are safe.
  12. Anyone hear from Midlife since the hurricane?
  13. Thanks Maybe, I have required the car all Alloy Metal harnesses. I have a long flasher Lee’s from the harness in front oof the radiator as you describe. It is long enough to run rearward all the way to the firewall. The turn signal harness with the build sockets installed is no longer than 18 inches. So what ever they connect to has to be close. Thank you.

  15. The picture attached is the original harness for the scoop installed turn signals for which I have no wiring diagram. The middle plug supplies power to the harness from the left and right signal feed. And the bulbs flash as advertised. The other plugs are in question they also receive flashing power. Anyone know what they may feed?
  16. My 69 came with a tilt/tiltaway steering wheel. The original wheel was a mess so I purchased a wheel on eBay that was better but not much. I came without a switch so I ordered one from NPD. Even though it is close to the original the lips on the switch that are designed to hold it in place are almost non existent and the switch falls out of the groove. So I ordered a complete wheel from NPD with the switch installed. The wheel is beautiful but the switch is problematic both in staying in place and activating the horn. NPD is my vendor of choice because they are right down the street so I am not unhappy with them just the fitment and performance of the horn switch. FYI
  17. Mid life I was hoping you would chime in. I have a new switch on the way. I will post my results
  18. 69 mustang No left turn signal No brake lights either side Everything seems to be connected and grounded. Brake light switch jumped 12 volts in 12 volts out no lights Consulting the wiring diagram it appears that circuit also runs through the turn signal switch. I am wonder if that could be the problem? What else should I check? The switch is not that old What do you guys think. Thanks in advance
  19. Looking for a couple of clips that hold the tilt bar in a 69 tilt wheel column pictures below
  20. Thanks that’s what I had in mind. Do you know the brand and will the turn signals cancel. Also did the horn wiring take a massive rework? thank you
  21. Can someone recommend an after mart steering wheel for my 69 mustang with tilt and tiltaway wheel. I would like to get one close to the original size with an adapter that will allow the horn to work and the turn signals to cancel. The original rim blow restoration is a little two rich for my blood at this time.
