Twice now a person I had follow me while driving told me my brake lights were not coming on. Yet when I sit in the garage and press on my brakes I see the lights coming on very brightly. So I know it's not a wiring problem to the brakes since they do light up.
 
My only guess is that in the garage I am pressing harder down on the pedal than I do on the road. I suppose I can replace the brake light switch on the pedal but just not sure that will help since it does seem to work.
 
Has anybody else had this trouble? Maybe I have the switch installed wrong to begin with?
