those lights are Octane lighting, i got them off ebay. The ones on this car has the switchback halo, they are white with park lamps and go yellow with turn sig. there are some standoff tabs spot welded to the back of the lamp housing, i snip them off so the trim ring will fit.

i thinks ill keep them off. i dont really see a benefit to having them on. here is what i did today

yep. so obviously he is capable of doing the work, he just chose to try and screw me. at least it cost him materials and time, hopefully he learns from this.

Got it back yesterday and seems much better. Fond a bunch of screwups, but i wast expecting perfection after the crap he gave me before. Started putting on trim today.

i could use a power window switch which will take the load, but i like that i can mount the higher amp solenoid somewhere and use low amp to trigger it.

its official, i am doing it with the relay and this switch. nice and clean.

i really like this idea, using this relay and a two button billet switch to control it

personally, i think its a terrible location and may just mount a different switch in the console

yea im missing the switch, i figured all that was made in china. maybe mtf should make them :-)

who makes the best OEM style headlight switch? I see there are a bunch out there, but they don't have that angled cup on it.

problem is there are only two reasons this happened. Either he is really bad at what he does, or he tried to screw me. there can be no other reason. Being the car looks much better now, im going with he tried to screw me. we have about 100 members in our car club, every one of them knows about this and they all know him locally. Word will only spread from here.

I walk into the body shop today and he refused to talk to me :-) He's mad at me because he screwed up the job. But, so far looks Much better.

when he came to get the car he didn't say a word to me, he was mad at me instead of apologizing for this mess he created.

so I went up to take a look at where he's at with it, he DA'ed the whole car and looks like he's gonna respray it. Who is willing to bet he's gonna paint and clearcoat with those headlight buckets on the fender?
