more pics, of the scam artist family! ............. thanks again Bswor, the car forum community is a small world with members who are passionate of their toys - which makes some people easy prey for the scam artists.... If you have the time follow the thread from Lambolive as it goes across 3-4 other forums.... This guy has been doing this for some time!

    Scam alert

The reason I post this for info and notice. The Forums we all enjoy are being used to harvest info to run scams. This one is all over Lambo's, Ford GT, Duramax and other Forums about this guy.... I was informed of this by TimCantwell at the FordGtForum who I know well. His is acquainted with Gus Cho who got burned by these guys. (See links below) Bswor, Pak or BNickel. I hope you keep this thread as fair warning for all. These are trouble times and the internet is a tool to exploit used by the scum bags out there. _____________________________________________________________ http://livelambo.com/showthread.php?t=1707 http://www.fordgtforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13385 WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE (LiveLambo post) Alex Etchison has several tattoos across both arm's of his body you can't miss these. Here are some pictures of the Alex Etchison. Here is a short story of what happen between our friend Mr.Cho and Alex Etchison. Kevin Cornwell(CATS EXOTICS) referred Alex Etchison to Mr.Cho talking him up saying he was a good guy and this that and the other. With Mr.Cho being the kinded hearted invidual he is Mr.Cho agree to hired alex to do some corporate restructuring. Now this is where things went sour. 1. Mr.Cornwell passed on Mr.Cho's personal financial information without his permission and or knowledge. 2. Mr.Cornwell voched for somebody he knew that had bad business practices 3. Mr.Cho got burned for $20,000. I'm not sure how you feel about the people you love and care about I refuse to let any members of my family get burned by a con-artist and I won't rest until this is handled. We are giving a $25,000 cash reward to any information leading to the capture of this crook.. Here are the emails we have for alex Alex@mvainc.net info@mvainc.net But trust me it get's way more interested from here.. stay tuned. - as copied from the LamboLive forum
  4. Yep, I think so but when everything is out I'm double checking everything! Picked up a new block with proportioning valve from Dennis for $69! Beat the heck out of NPD and others by ~$50- $70! Booster makes a noise like you're stepping on a bag pipe - also will change that.... BTW - 69in 2006, how's your's coming along. I have Bill's engine in and running! Sweet! Trying to hit Henri's in town to finish the exhaust before X-mas!
  5. hit the "Members Mapper" link above.........
  6. Removed the MC and distribution block/ proportioning valve.... The proportioning valve was still under pressure, the switch contacts bad and after looking at the fitting on the block - I jsut don't trust it! It appears once again somebody was there before me :surrender: Time to call Dennis at discbrakeswap.com ...............
  7. That looks like a real clean and nice looking Vert! Welcome, what part of the country are you located at?
  8. During the rebuild I have replaced the Booster and Master Cylinder. Bench bled the MC and installed, bled the system but here is where the problem lays. It won't hold pressure - I have replaced the back wheel cylinders and no matter how much time I bleed them - they will loose pressure. Even when the pedal is solid - the damn brake light is on... BTW - there are no leaks! Q: Could it be the proportioning valve?
  9. It's got that Rousch look or even better Foose front end.... Bswor - did you mod or buy? Like the color combo...
  10. So here we are 2 1/2 months later and ~1 month later than planned but I have put 35+ miles on the car and on the way home from the alignment shop - it felt great! I cannot tell you how much the steering has improved. The original ford shuddered and popped when I drove it before. The new steering setup from Randall is Top Shelf A#1....
  11. Pics - gauge pod shown in place of Ashtray
  12. There are vendors that sell a pod where you loose the front ashtray in the stock console but can put in 2 - 2.125" guages. Cost of the pod was ~$25 I think from Mustangs Unlimited. Copies the idea of the Shelby Console offering for the 69 where there was no ashtray..... Since it is a new engine - I went for a mechanical oil guage and since I converted to a 140A single wire alternator and I lost the dash alt stock guage (ammeter) I used the second spot for a voltmeter which shows anothing over ~1.5k is pushing 14V and everything is fine..... So in the old ashtray I now have real time - detailed status in a stock console! Stock temp still works and tracks well with the electric fan..... Give me a week - I'll post pics if you want...
  13. so another weekend - more parts and guess what! SUCCESS! LED bulbs in and working, Gauges in and ALL working (Except for alt. due to single wire). Solution - New dash PCB from Mustangs Unlimited and Voltage regulator...... Coz - your console is in with real guages for volt/ oil! Dash pad back in! Hood installed! Last major item before heading off to the alignment and muffler shop is mounting of the shaker on the Holley 750 (I'm sure more threads will be researched:whistling:)...... Getting there!
  14. I know the feeling. 3.4 Whipple on the 5.4! Great summer project! .............but I'm back on the 69 [damn gauges]
  15. Jeff Thanks,,, will try.... Burp 3:30 update..... three more attempts - no right turn signal while bulb checks out... Time for new circuit board!
  16. Well I spoke to soon - looks like it's time for a new PCB. Tried to fix the gas gauge and now only one blinker works (bulbs good), no Temp or Oil where they worked yesterday. Sensitive 40 yr. old things they are... Mustang Unlimited - thank you! Another week delay..... Well time to get a beer - It is after 12:00 now
  17. Well - I have to say thanks for this post and thread Juice it.... Today I've got the blinkers, LED dash light (kept bulbs for the turn signals) and cluster working EXCEPT for the gas gauge. It won't move off "E"... so tomorrow, 1st thing I'm taking the cluster out and checking to see if its open!..... Temp work, Oil is good - just the damn gas. From the other posts I also picked up from jerry69 that if it pegs then: "While you have the wire off the sending unit take a volt-ohm meter and put one probe on the connector where the wire was and the other probe to the round part of the sending unit where it attaches to the tank... The sending unit should measure 8-12 ohms full and 70-73 ohms empty. So a short to ground would show over full, just like "SellersRodshop" stated.
  18. Congrats! I to look forward to soon posting pics (next year or so)
  19. Front suspension and steering are two different and seperate items. I have gone R&P with Randall's Rack! As little as I have driven it - WOW, it's like a neww car and for ~$2k a definite improvement. The front suspension and control arms are in my mind another different item all together that until I find the limits of the R&P I'm not touching the other suspension components. hope this helps ya.............
  20. light coat of silicon to set the O-ring in and on the outer flange of the O-Ring worked great. No Gasket!
  21. Did you try the Gooseneck with the O-Ring on it? I have an extra if you need it. I went with the one from NPD with the 3/8 NPT for the temp plug for electric fans.
  22. YAHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Burp.... (excuse me)..... Turned out to be the "short" on the plug going to the trans. for the reverse lights. The four post plug consisted of a loop which shorted out the "neutral Safety Switch if it was an Auto! Thanks guy! Now onto the dash lights and turn signals - tomorrow of course....
