Ridge Runner 1,113 Report post Posted July 18, 2017 Could someone explain to me why these new water based materials are so much more expensive than than the old solvent based materials ...and are no where near as good ? Clears burn off the water based paint or even peel and yet they keep telling us how good they are .i just spent $62 for two tubes of water based seam sealer that i will never use again.
