1969_Mach1 333 Report post Posted March 6, 2017 The CPP box is smaller. I looked at both of them when I did my conversion. I liked the fact the CPP box was smaller. But, I chose the Borgeson box because both CPP's catalog and one of their salesmen mentioned their steering box sometimes hits the shock tower and the fix is to use a hammer and dent the shock tower. prayers1 153 Report post Posted March 8, 2017 1969_Mach1- Good call on the carbine bit, grinded away like butter and now fits like a glove, I was a little hesitant to cut so much off the tubes, so I cut 3/4" on the Inner & Outer, test fitted everything and was an 1/8" from the rag joint.
