stangnet33 88 Report post Posted February 22, 2017 20+ yrs ago took the thing apart to repair the points and now can't remember they come off so I can get the lens off. Really don't want to wreck a working clock. 1 ncdruroSor reacted to this
Raven R code 281 Report post Posted February 22, 2017 I just did mine last year....I think the knob unscrews. I'll see if I have notes confirming that.
stangnet33 88 Report post Posted February 22, 2017 Thx Dave but I got them off, just put on a bigger pair and some big boy pants. It appears when I fixed the clock I never took the lens off. They were very well on and it was a little nerve racking as I didn't want to damage the clock in any way.
69volunteer 84 Report post Posted February 22, 2017 It does unscrew. I had to use a tiny pair of needle nose pliers and some tape to not damage the stem. Mine was on there VERY tight and if I remember correctly, I had to use another set of pliers on the actual knob.
69volunteer 84 Report post Posted February 22, 2017 Never mind....you are talking about the round clock not the rectangular one. Helps if I read.
