Raven R code 281 Report post Posted May 21, 2016 I got a dash VIN decal that doesn't have a cutout for the numbers. Instead , it is like clear tape that goes over the numbers. Is it supposed to be like that to prevent the decal from curling up over time? Or does the clear "window" supposed to be cutout? Thanks, Dave

Raven R code 281 Report post Posted May 21, 2016 Mine from Marti is the same way. Did you cut out the clear part covering the numbers?
jjstang 51 Report post Posted May 22, 2016 If you have installed it, does it make the numbers hard to see?
Raven R code 281 Report post Posted May 22, 2016 Well.....was puzzled why they would sell a decal without the number area cutout. This is why I questioned it. I did end up cutting out the clear strip over the numbers and it looks fine.
RPM 1,190 Report post Posted May 22, 2016 It's been a while since I applied mine, so I took a look yesterday. It looks fine and I ran my finger over it to check if it was cut out or not.
