det0326 179 Report post Posted October 30, 2015 got the head gaskets today. they look really nice measured the thickness and it is around .042 to .045. I said no way this is going to compress down to .027 so I started torquing it down using the sequence pattern. After i got done there is one little spot at the top corner where you could actually measure the distance between the head and block. So I checked with a feeler gauge and it measured .0265 could not get a .027 gauge between it. So I guess those guys at Cometic really know there stuff.
