lynx000 10 Report post Posted May 27, 2015 Hi there I have a question that I hope someone might be able to help me out with an answer. I am getting towards the end of a long build on my 69 Fastback. My question relates to the rear seat. I have an ABS aftermarket parcel tray and the non-fold down rear seat. There is a gap between the seat and the parcel tray as per the photo. Is there a piece of plastic or metal trim that goes in this space? If so, does someone have a part number or know of where I could get this piece? I hope someone can help me out with an answer. MichaelJames 12 Report post Posted May 28, 2015 I can't really tell what is in your picture but it sounds like you might be talking about the metal trim peice that goes across the top of the rear seat? I have the non fold down too and took a couple pictures. Made me realize now how crooked one of my trim pieces is.
lynx000 10 Report post Posted May 28, 2015 Yes that is it exactly, okay now at least I know what it looks like, thank you for that I really appreciate it. Now does anyone know where I can get one of these?
MichaelJames 12 Report post Posted May 28, 2015 I have no idea where you can get these or if they are reproduced. I went ahead and took it off to get you a part number but there wasn't one on there. Here are a couple more pictures of it helps.

lynx000 10 Report post Posted May 28, 2015 Thank you both for all of your help, that has been invaluable, I emailed Scotty. And Michael, mate thank you for all of the photos, I have been able to email them to a few places asking if they have any. Apparently they are not available as a reproduction part, so I will have to try some salvage yards.
lynx000 10 Report post Posted May 31, 2015 I have managed to track down the metal piece that goes across the top of the back seat, would anyone have a pair of the plastic end caps/brackets for either side that they would be willing to sell me?

I think they may have come in a kit with the interior quarter trim i ordered tho and not sold separately maybe . I do have a repo set tho but they are not as good as OEM they are thinner and cheaper looking. Dave Edit Second thought the end caps may have come with the repo metal piece that I purchased from Kentucky Mustang.

The long metal trim goes in first and the little plastic trim pieces on each side install OVER the ends of the long metal trim.
