Wycked69 20 Report post Posted May 21, 2015 I find it hard to believe that one owns a "Trunk Monkey". Best I have found regardless of thief or tow truck https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rx6WB5YJia8
10yearsgone 15 Report post Posted May 22, 2015 There is a ½†hole on the tunnel side front corner of some standard bucket seats, on the frame horizontally no cutting required. A standard hardware switch would fit perfectly
danno 128 Report post Posted May 22, 2015 I like the idea of a switch or relay between the - coil wire and the distributor. That makes it so jumping across solenoid will not work, and jumping from the battery to the coil will also not work. Seriously, I know a guy who removes the steering wheel. He as it rigged for quick on and off, keeps it in the trunk or in his bedroom. Gives a new meaning to sleeping at the wheel! Without it, the only solution is a tow truck. One more idea is a electric gas shut off valve. In case of a carjack, you shut the valve off and the car keeps running long enough for you to get away safely.
