70fastbak 16 Report post Posted August 28, 2014 Not sure what you can squeeze in there with a mini tub. Without mini tubs I'm squeezing a 315/35 17 wheel has 6.9 backspacing and 27mm offest. Rear lips are rolled.

970fizz 19 Report post Posted August 28, 2014 All all depends on how wide the wheel is. My 70 has a more narrow axle then stock About 9mm on each side. I just ordered 17x9.5 -6 offset PSE wheels and 315 nitto tires

SM69Mach 68 Report post Posted August 29, 2014 I am running 18X10 out back and 17X8 up front. Using Bullitt Wheels that fit the 94-04 cars. 1" spacer up front. Rolled fender lips and made some clearance for the front inner fender well. Was running 305/35 Nitto DR, but recently went down to 285/35 as I it would scrape every now and then and just finally annoyed me enough I wanted to go to something slightly smaller. 245/45/17 up front. 70fastbak 16 Report post Posted August 30, 2014 Is this with stock leafs or coil overs? How tight are they to the lip and frame? Pics would be awesome. Using 2" lowered leafs. I installed new full quarters and outer wheel tubs and decided to roll the lips also just in case I decided to use some big rubber back there, glad I did. I am putting in a one piece floor also and while I have the floor out I am going to massage the lower front inner wheel tub and cut the new floor accordingly.
