Tgriffin91 27 Report post Posted May 6, 2014 Found this is phoenix. Seems like a good deal if all the numbers really match. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/nph/cto/4442759126.html Also found this... didn't they only make 2 of the 69 Torinos with 429 engines? . . . So this is a 1 of 2 car? Don't think I believe it. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/4454902974.html

Alan_Mac 48 Report post Posted May 6, 2014 The SCJ Mustang looks like it is being pieced together and is missing allot of parts (grill, moldings lights, rear qtr windows, shifter etc...) More Red flags, no Marti report shown, no underside pictures, no inside trunk pictures, moroso oil pan, rust holes in the doors and quarters, no front wiring harness, in operable engine and cant be driven. And they are asking allot for a car that's a mess.

Don't think I believe it. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/wvl/cto/4454902974.html The only 69 Torinos that would have had a 429 would have been race only Boss 429 powered race cars. I know they built them for NASCAR. But I'm not aware of any built for drag racing. Starting in 1970 the 429 wedge motor became the top engine for the production Torinos you could buy.
