Kris 90 Report post Posted April 30, 2014 No there was not a grille on the ac vents. There are a few plastic support bars that go across the vent but thats it. I had actually thought about putting some black screen across mine as it won't really be noticeable and it would keep stuff from falling down inside the vents and ac/heater box. When I took out my old heater box and parts there was all kids of stuff in it from a cigarette lighter to toys cars a gold necklace and other random items. stangs-R-me 121 Report post Posted April 30, 2014 I think I remember seeing course screening in the defrost openings a '67 or '68 Mustang some time ago and thought why did they eliminate that for '69 ??
