Well I do this for a living (not leading) but I restore cars.

I used to work for Kevins Klassic cars in cannon falls, MN as the fabricator/welder...Big boss 429 restorer, sold a lot of cars at barrett Jackson.

Not that we did leading there, we used panel bond there.

Now I work for another resto shop and the owner likes to do everything the right way, old school.

I am currently doing a 67 Shelby GT 500 there and the owner wanted the seams leading, so I guess I used the GT 500 as my guinea pig before doing my own...lol.

That was the first leading ive ever done and my car is the second.

As long as the metal is nice and clean and tinned good its actually pretty easy.

Just watch the heat, don't get it too hot or your seam will end up splattered on the floor :)
