1969 Coupe RestMod So Cal.

Recommended Posts

So many great threads on this forum, specifically with 69 coupes. Guess I will start the journey of mine on here.

Picked her up on Tuesday, January 21, 2014. Owner started at 6k car sat for a month, owner then came down to $4995.00. Body is extremely straight, very little rust at all. Only places I have found so far are except the trunk by the tail lights and on the passenger door where the only trace of bondo I could find with my magnet.

Engine is an original 351 windsor with an automatic transmission. 2 owners in this pony's lifetime, both of them in Brea CA.

Engine sounded extremely rough transmission shifted very smooth. I told the owner I would give him 2000.00$ since the engine sounded horrible. He grudgingly excepted and after DMV fees and tax she was mine for a hair over $2200.00.

Driving the car to the local autozone the cars engine rattled hard then siezed up. I was very glad I negotiated and also new why he didn't counter. Hahahaha
