beecj0 11 Report post Posted October 23, 2013 does anybody make big tube high clearance full length headers? While researching headers I couldn't find any good info on the hedman husler hedders. So I ordered them without realy knowing what I was getting myself into. Hot off the FedEx truck! Will they fit? Ill post up after I pull the hooker super comp pipe draggers. Nice headers, yes do let us know how they work out. They do look like they would have lots of ground clearance. If they miss everything else they should workout fine. RogerC 136 Report post Posted October 24, 2013 These look like something I might want if they clear manual trans. Currently have Hooker supercomps.

beecj0 11 Report post Posted October 24, 2013 These look like something I might want if they clear manual trans. Currently have Hooker supercomps. I'm running a c6. WAY more tranny clearance than the Super comps. Before I had to mount the shift cable before the headers! AND I gained a half inch of ground clearance with 2.125 primaries over the smashed SCs! Not SS, just unpainted. They bolt up nice, but do make contact in a couple places. No more than the super comps. Lots of steering box clearance. The super comps hit my box and made it hard to keep a shaft seal from leaking.
beecj0 11 Report post Posted October 24, 2013 An oil filter relocate or right-angle adapter IS required. You will also have to split the mounting flange as two tubes go in front of the motor mounts on both sides. These headers can be removed with the starter in place, and the starter can be removed just by removing the front two primary tubs.
