Exterior Light Install Questions

I think I know the answer to these but I want to make sure:

 

The license plate lamp asym--where does it bolt on to? The inside of the rear bumper? I see two holes that look to be in the right spot on either side of the cutout in the bumper for the license plate.

 

Front parking light asym--where does it bolt on to? I dont have my front bumper but I dont see anywhere else these could mount.

The 2 screws go from the outside of the license plate cutout through the bumper into the holes on the license plate lamp assembly with the license plate lamp assembly on the back side of the bumper.

I bet if I get my front bumper out of storage, I will know the answer. It looks like the housing bolts to the bumper similar to the license plate housing?

There's 2 holes in the bumper directly above the lights in the pic above. Screws are inserted through the holes into the light bracket/body which contains nuts.
