bgnorma 10 Report post Posted May 16, 2013 I just put on the AutoFab set. Fully adjustable with shock tower supports. Great system. Hardly anyone knows about them and they are cheaper than the competition.
buening 63 Report post Posted May 16, 2013 That is interesting. Never heard of them. http://autofabcart.net/1967-1970mustangtubularcontrolarmsandcoil-overconversionkit.aspx Looks like the typical circle track parts (UCA and LCA) with the only deviation is using a shorter shock. The pictures on their site suck, so can you tell me if the LCA is straight like the Ron Morris kit, or do they introduce a bend (similar to 69gmachine's LCA)? sixt9stang 36 Report post Posted May 16, 2013 (edited) I like the setup but I would not get rid of the shock tower bracing. Edit: Nevermind. Just seen @bjnorma's topic on the suspension and seen the export brace. Looks like a good setup. Edited May 16, 2013 by sixt9stang
bgnorma 10 Report post Posted May 17, 2013 The LCA has the ball joint is mounted at an angle to simulate the bend. The setup has about six inches of travel.
