  1. I installed the new Wilwood 12 inch 6 piston brake kit today. Happy with the install and the way it worked with the suspension kit. Very nice looking kit and much lighter than the old drums. Still need to hook up lines and bleed the system and install new TCP rack. It appears they will work with the 15 inch Centerlines as long as I use the .20 Wilwood spacer.
  2. The LCA has the ball joint is mounted at an angle to simulate the bend. The setup has about six inches of travel.
  3. Here's a picture of the link that connects to the sway bar.
  4. A better export brace setup comes with the kit. Check out the picture below.
  5. I just put on the AutoFab set. Fully adjustable with shock tower supports. Great system. Hardly anyone knows about them and they are cheaper than the competition.
  6. It's been quite some time since I've had time to mess around with my 69 mustang but, I finally got a chance to start updating the front end suspension, brakes and steering. The last few days I've been installing a A-arm Coil-over set-up from AutoFab Race Cars. I've had this kit for a few years and just now getting around to installing it. I've never seen it on another Mustang but I have used some of their custom parts on my race car and always been impressed with the engineering and quality of their products. Anyway, one of the nice things I like about this kit is the shock tower support braces that can come with it. You can install the kit without it but I decided to install it because I have had the towers collapse on previous Mustangs that I owned. It also looks very close to the setup I use on the race car (9.40 Mach I) and works great.
  7. I bought one of those Summit carbs for my 390 and it runs and starts great. It's designed like the old Autolite carbs and doesn't seep fuel all over the manifold like the Holleys do after the gaskets get some age on them. Cheap too!
