steering column shroud?

does anyone repop or have a nice used plastic shroud for around the column on a 70?

i had purchased a repop for my 69 and thought it sucked to the point i ended up repairing the tab on my original and using that.

 

maybe the 70 repops are better (if they are made). i guess you could order one and see if it meets your needs.

Are you talking about the part that bolts to the bottom of the dash that covers the column, or the round column trim? If its the lower dash column cover, NPD carries a Scott Drake one for a 70 that is much better than the Dynacorn that CJ Pony carries. The NPD one is also double the price....get what you pay for though.

Check with Al at Al's Lincoln. Many of these parts are the same between Lincolns and Mercurys. He helped me with some odd and ends on my 70 tilt conversion
