Leaking Holley 8045-7

Well.. I got a leaking Holley. Its quite a reasonable amount of leakage. Is the area from where it leaks fixable or is just crap!? (see picture)

Yes rebuild it, we have the technology

It's a Holley. They leak (at least both of mine did). I replaced mine with a used Carter and never had another problem.

Haha.. thats one way of doing it!

Just read a post on the Holley Forum and that gut fixed the leaking freeze plug with JB-Weld...

Another option is to replace the fuel bowls with center-hung float bowls. That will eliminate the tube that runs on the outside of the bowls. You will need to replace the fuel line. That helped me a little, as my first one always leaked along the tube.

If it runs good and tuned right...its worth fixing .... plug it or replace the bowl...its hard to get a carb right...when switching brands..easy fix though..
