Mike65 476 Report post Posted February 10, 2013 When I got the 5.0 engine for my Coupe it was from a 87 C/V & it came with the alternator. I was wondering if I could use it in place of my old alternator?. The old one was a 40a, & the 87 alternator is a 65a & it looks like it has an integral voltage regulator. Mike.
