New best.....again

Recommended Posts

You know, they don't really bother me on the street. You pick up a little noise with the Caltracs, because of the solid bushing, but IMO it's minimal.

The split monos have a little different ride than the stock multi leafs did. On a normal road, with normal bumps, they ride pretty well, but they're real "springy" when you hit big bumps. I drive my car a lot, and they don't bother me at all, but I think it's all about what you're willing to put up with.

The body separation is much better with the split monos, but honestly, my car would 60' just as well with the multi leafs and Caltracs. The monos are more consistant, and much lighter.

I run Competition Engineering's Slide a Link traction bars. They are very similar in appearance and function to the Caltracs. But they have the bushing in the middle and it eliminates a lot of the noise that would normally be transmitted by the Caltrac style bars.
