Daves69Coupe 10 Report post Posted September 16, 2012 I believe I have a clogged brake line. I bleed my rear brake drum and went to do driverside but I cant get any fluid to come out of wheel cylinder or line. I checked the valve that sits on the diff and feeds both wheels and fluid does come out of side serving left rear drum so it has to be line. What can I use to clean line? bleach or vinegar or? MAD IN NC 21 Report post Posted September 16, 2012 I personally would simply replace the bad section of line..... Why mess with it. Short enough and easy to get to. Wouldnt want to contaminate the fluid or damage to the wheel cylinder....

MAD IN NC 21 Report post Posted September 16, 2012 check locally - if there is a good auto part store in town they already have the fitted lines that you just have to bend.... Worse comes to worse, cut and flare kit - cost under $20 plus $10 for line...
JCB-69CJ 11 Report post Posted September 17, 2012 I was just looking for a solution that didnt involve me waiting for a part. Just like Mad in NC said, no need to wait for anything. Just did this repair . Bought the proper length line with fittings from napa store for $7 and the bending tool for $5 and created my own new line. Thirty minutes and it was done.
