Peppo 10 Report post Posted November 17, 2011 Has anyone installed rack and pinion on a 69 with 351C and Hooker SuperCompetition headers ? Also have Hydraulic clutch, 5 sp manual T-5. According to Steeroids their rack is incompatible. I have installed a new steering box from Flaming river but don´t feel much difference. Any info appreciated. danno 128 Report post Posted November 17, 2011 I have Randall's with long tube headers, and it worked fine. The tranny can clutch should not be a problem. I also have a 302W, but there should not be too much of a difference down under. It really depends on the exact dimensions of you headers, and that will be so hard to tell.
