snakebite500 10 Report post Posted September 18, 2011 (edited) drums came with the drag pack option. lighter weight. Did some research on the whole drag pack option and it seams that dealers back in the day were allowed to install most options. I have been told more than once that dealer installed options went un-documented sometimes. Say you purchase a new 428 69 mach1 off the dealer lot in 1969. You paid the dealer to add the ram air option but the vin will not show the R code because its after the fact. The seller today says its a true ram air car because he claims it was a dealer option that installed it. Things that make you say Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Edited September 18, 2011 by snakebite500
snakebite500 10 Report post Posted October 3, 2011 I went to the Fall Carlisle swap meet this past weekend and got a good deal on a few things. The gas tank kit I got from the CJ Pony parts tent. I also found a vendor who was trying to unload his last few Qts of POR 15. At $35 a qt, I just couldn't walk away.
chillininnh 21 Report post Posted October 4, 2011 drums came with the drag pack option. lighter weight. Not so, drums were standard equipment, discs were an option. This was true for an H-code Mach or an R-code Mach SCJ.
