buening 63 Report post Posted June 13, 2011 Looking at the back of the gauge cluster, it is right in the center between the speedo and the fuel/temp gauge.

LoneWolf2U 136 Report post Posted June 13, 2011 Also look for a 9volt battery type connector on the back of the panel, This where it goes. Make sure it is attached with the mounting screw too.

jagsfan811 10 Report post Posted June 13, 2011 I saw something that i thought resembled a CVR, but it had the ribbon cable attached to it. and the CVR i was told to get has 3 wires coming off, no mounts for the ribbon cable. I can post pictures when i get home from work

danno 128 Report post Posted June 13, 2011 It sounds like you got the wrong cvr. The one for 69 and 70 Stangs does not have any wires connected to it, just snap terminals like on a 9 volt battery. The same snap terminals are on the flexible ribbon cable.
