Fordrevhead 29 Report post Posted April 5, 2010 Has anyone used Rust Bullet? I would like some reviews. Apparently they "tested against all 319 other brands of rust control products. Every test from seawater immersion to impact resistance was performed at independent laboratories following the standards of the American Society for Testing and Materials." Then they submitted it for "eight types of rigorous tests at six different laboratories, including the National Testing Standards Inc., Atlas Weathering Group, and B.F. Goodrich Aerospace." impressive. http://www.rustbullet.com/Products/Automotive/Automotive.asp

69RavenConv 286 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 I see they sell it at Summit which is about 30 mins from my house. Maybe I'll pick some up and try it out. I've used Rust Encapsulator from Eastwood before. Trouble is, it might take years to know how good any of these products really work....
Fordrevhead 29 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 Yeah, that's why I am looking for real world testimonials. Apparently the adhesion is excellent! Looks like about the same price as rust converter. I would use epoxy sealer over this as opposed to encapsulator.
Truck 12 Report post Posted April 6, 2010 I'll look and see if I can find some locally. In my conditions, I get a few years worth of rust in a matter of weeks! (And plenty to paint!)
