1969 Jack – Original Equipment

There seems to be two types of jacks held up as being factory correct for 1969. Pictures of both types posted below. I do know that the jack that has the separate part at the top (that comes into contact with the vehicle) is correct original equipment for 1969, but can the other type be considered concourse correct as well? In other words, were both types used in 1969 Mustangs?

Here’s the other jack type. I've seen this type used in 1970's era Ford products, but was it also used in 69's??

I have an all original 69 coupe and it has the first one that you've pictured.

Thanks guys, You've confirmed what I suspect - that the upper one is correct. Fury - does your jack and the lug wrench have any numbers or other markings?

My '69 has the first style, and I believe it to be original...

There is an 8G stamped on one of the scissors arms and the letter A stamped on the upper plate. In the wrench there is the letter A stamped on the backside that you can only see once yoy open the wrench.

Ours came with no jack, so I guess you could say I don't know JACK about the jacks! LOL!

I have the Original jack that came with my '69. It has a Sticker on it that says "SEE OWNERS MANUAL FOR JACKING INSTRUCTIONS".
