9" rear end question

Recommended Posts

I have a 69 mustang project i am doing right now, and am looking forward to placing a 9" rear end in my car. I have a guy who has a 1970 cougar 9" rear end.

Will this fit on the 69 mustang?

and

is $200 complete a good price?

thank you

Ryan

Yes they did, you can use them if you want or leave them off.

I left them off my Mach 1 but if the rear end doesn't come down once I get all the weight back in it I'm going to have to add the pads back in it. seems a little high as it is.

It will work, but make sure you use a 69 rear brake hose & the 70 was different. You can always use a reducing fitting. $200 is a great buy if its complete. I have a complete ready to bolt on 69 9 inch with 3.00:1 ratio & an extra 3rd memeber of 3.25:1 ratio & an extra pair of axles I'd sell for $300
