If this is correct, what is the position of the shifter lever on the transmission when it is in Park? Toward the front of the transmission or rear. On a 70 mustang with the column lockout did anyone adapt it to the AOD or did you just tie the column lockout up? I know the pin out for the switch on the AOD for NS and reverse lights, but does anyone know the wire colors on the 70 harness for NS and reverse lights? Angel 24 Report post Posted August 20, 2009 For the shift lever, i had to flip it. i dont remember which way but i took my aod off of a 90 mustang and i had to flip it the other way. i think it should point up because the lokar cable is mounted on the pan.
