d.reese 13 Report post Posted January 5, 2009 1969 Mustang Air Conditioner - $350 (Garland) <HR>Reply to: sale-980200690@craigslist.org [?] Date: 2009-01-04, 5:02PM CST Your looking at what I have been told was a dealer/factory add-on air for the 1969 Mustang. I do not claim to be a expert, but I removed this from my 1969 Mustang and it was fully mounted, as you can tell by the picture. These type systems are rare and you can have them redone or redo them yourself. I know it is a York Compressor. I am selling because my car will not have A/C, so I do not need. Dont miss out!! $350.00 OBO dchandler60@verizon.net or 972 207-4790cell <TABLE summary="craigslist hosted images"><TBODY><TR><TD align=middle></TD><TD align=middle></TD></TR><TR><TD align=middle></TD><TD align=middle></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
dchandler60 10 Report post Posted January 6, 2009 Thanks David for posting,, I`m cleaning out a few items. Maybe someone can chime in if this was a dealer add-on?? OR am I way to high on the price ??
d.reese 13 Report post Posted January 6, 2009 I would probably have purchased it if I were still in the rebuild stage. A/C is something we wish the car had on those TX hot days! Did not know it was yours, just trying to help out all the others on here that might want or need one! The price is allways too high for some and just right for those who need something!!! I think its inline. Good Luck!
Truck 12 Report post Posted January 6, 2009 LOL! that probably explains why I can't find the A/C Unit that's on my Marti! I guess I'll have to get one, sooner, or later!
bnickel 10,004 Report post Posted January 11, 2009 yes that is an original dealer add on unit. could be one of the later ARA-Matador units but i don't think so. i think the price is about right for that unit, they aren't especially rare but definitely uncommon nowadays. might even be cool to add on a car with factory ac if someone wanted really cold ac in their car, since this unit could be mounted in conjunction with the factory setup and not cause any interference.....LOL
