coz 108 Report post Posted July 20, 2008 MoreHP, I run similar sized tires (F-225/70/15 , B-275/60/15) which gives me a very neutral stance with a stock front end - no lowering. My front tires are very close to the front part of the fender well and I come close to rubbing when turning. I think if you lower it an inch or two you will need at least the 60 series up front. Maybe even the 215/60/15. The problem I see is you may get a "doorstop" (wedge) look if you go 215/60/15 and 275/60/15. Check out this page supplied by another poster. A great way to match up tire sizes without buying. tiresizing For example a 215/60/15 is 25.2" tall and the 275/50/15 is 25.9". I have a similar setup on my coupe with 4 1/2 185 rear leaf and kyb's, I was looking into the shelby under ride bars .. but I already have sub frame connectors welded in... so somebody suggested the caltracks or the maier rear leaf with the extra front support in the leaf. coz 108 Report post Posted July 22, 2008 The Cal-tracs rock.... Really push down on the rear as it tries to rise up. Really minimizes wheel spin unless you release at 4k or above. No wheel hop whatsoever.. If you are setting up a 1/4 miler I highly suggest the Cal-tracs. The ride is a bit stiff but very bearable.
