cramer 12 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 Hello, To those that have switched to headers and have an automatic choke on the carburetor... Previously there was a line that ran from the carburetor choke area to the exhaust manifolds but with the headers this line does not exist so how did you all handle this? Thanks, Marc Cramer
6T9Mach1 12 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 Hooker headers have a tube for the choke tube. Do you have headers yet? I've got a set of 302/351 headers for sale.

Yes I do and they have been installed...hence the reason I was wondering about the choke. Thanks, Marc
Arrowhead 10 Report post Posted May 29, 2008 The 2bbl on mine has a clip that holds the heater hose next to the choke stove. It actually seems to work pretty good, the hose heats it up and the choke opens. Is that good enough or do you need the exhaust tube too? Not stealing your post cramer, but maybe this is an alternative for you too.
